The jersey remained in the closet on Sunday.
So, for the record, this is NOT my fault.
Or maybe it is. Maybe this is my penance for not having enough faith to support my favorite team and my favorite player at the same time when they're facing off on the same field. But this doesn't have anything to do with me, right? This is just a game. Shit happens. Teams play craptastic now and then. Opposing teams go all in and get 150 yds on three trick plays. It happens.
So why do I feel like I'm being punished?
