Let it be known, I love me some Rickey. You know I love a badass linebacker, and it doesn't get more badass than Rickey Jackson and the Dome Patrol. That said, I learned a few interesting things during today's HOF induction ceremony:
1. Tom Benson still can't believe the Saints had a winning season much less won the Super Bowl.
2. Back in Rickey's hometown (Drink!), "you could grow vegetables and stuff."
3. Benson makes a tasty turd. Just ask Rickey. He's all up in that shit. According to Rickey, he should be in the HOF when the Saints win the SB again this year. ("when" being my personal addition)
4. We need to keep football from gettin' away from us. Whatever that means. I think I know what you mean, Rickey. And I'm with you on that one. But dude, you kind of lost me at "vegetables."
5. The Saints have a Super Bowl win and a player in the Hall of Fame. Excuse me while I go pinch myself a few more times.
