Hollis Thomas' asthma medicine causes drug policy violation
You've GOT to be kidding me. Thanks NFL. Thanks a lot. After CAREFUL consideration of Thomas' breathing treatments (um, Advair, hello), the NFL decided to suspend him for the rest of the regular season. This was not a rash decision. It was appealed and after considering all of the evidence, this is the best they could come up with? Someone tell me this is a joke.
Is it just me, or do I smell a discrimination lawsuit brewing? *sniff* *sniff* I mean, after all, if the man needs to have medication to live, much less to play football, and the NFL says he cannot take it and play, doesn't that scream discrimination? What if we told diabetic players they could no longer take insulin and play football? I am NOT a proponent of frivolous lawsuits, but this seems legit to me. Go ahead Big T, sue their collective asses.
